Day 4 Jambo: High Adventure!

Yesterday was mostly "Work Hard".  Today is "Play Hard"!   Homesickness melted away as the boys each anticipated in high adventure and other activities.

Breakfast this morning was Cheerios, milk, juice, muffins and apples.

Aaron Stobbe worked hard to get each and every boy signed up for a curriculum activity.  Each of the boys was assigned a specific high adventure activity for today. (These are the ones they signed up for on the web before the camp). If they had trouble signing up like my son, they were still assigned a great activity with Aaron's help. We assigned them buddies and sent them off.

Obviously, it was not be possible for me to take pictures of any more than a few of them.

We touched bases last night and again this morning with the boys who were feeling a little homesick. Everyone was doing a little bit better today!  Your prayers are working and our boys are getting stronger.  I am absolutely certain this challenge is making it a little easier to face missions and college down the line.

I asked the boys what their favorite thing was today.  Here's what they said.

After a fourth day of very high hear indexes, it is so nice to come back to camp and take a cold shower.  The water temp is 60 degrees.  It takes your breath away!  The boys are staying hydrated and a few are treating little scrapes and blisters, but are otherwise well and happy tonight in their beds.  Quietest they've been all trip at this hour!

Thanks for all the messages today; I'm happy to try to help answer any question or help with requests.
