Request for more details and pictures of the boys!

The boys got up early this morning and had a buffet breakfast with 300+ other boys from Utah.  Each troop wears their own color of cap and we see them all over town.  We then boarded our bus #156, with Gil, the honorary troop member and driver.  We drove to a dock in New Jersey, and boarded a very nice, 3 story ferry.  We toured the harbor seeing Manhattan,  the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and the Brooklyn bridge.  We then took buses to the 9/11 memorial.

The boys are still a little tired from the travel and heat, but it is good to see them getting to know and having fun with each other.  We are heading to the ship "Intrepid" for lunch for those of you following along on the web!

I asked some of the boys what their favorite thing was so far.  Matthew Kay says, "I can't believe this is only the second day!  We've seen so much stuff!"

Tanner Bronson:  "The Statue of Liberty!"

Jake Peterson,  "The Top of the Rock!"

Joshua Clark,  "The Dumb-dumb at the National Museum". (Easter Island head replica)

Henry Peterson, "The FOOD!"

Alec Saeva, "Sleep and NBC!"

More to come.....
